Quick Update...

I've decided to write my posts as long as I want them to be! I want to have memories of Parker recorded with details so I can really remember them not just know what day he did a certain thing but have no details of how it came to be. Anyway, here is what this quick update is REALLY about...Parker was dedicated at church last Sunday, March 15th and had his birthday party immediately following the church service. There are too many details for me to get into right now because I have been trying to get to bed earlier at night and that certainly won't happen if I talk about Parker's dedication and birthday party right now. James taped the opening of presents and the singing of Happy Birthday as well as the eating of the cake. One of my brother's taped the dedication while my other brother took pics with our camera at the dedication. My nephew Kaleb took pics of Parker opening his presents with our camera. My point??...We have thoughourly documented this event! :) I don't know how to get video from our actually video camera to the computer, (only know how to get video from our digital camera to our computer), so I'm not sure if the videos will make it on here or not. I'll try to choose some of the better pictures from the dedication and b-day party when I write a post with dedication/party details. I'll post all of the pictures on Facebook as well so you can always check there for all the pics from the day. Haha...even this post that was supposed to be a "quick" update, is rather long. I'm telling you, I am just not a concise writer...

  2. Well I don't know if you read my previous post or not, but I had someone mention that they thought my blog posts were too long and I thought maybe other people felt that way too, they just didn't say anything about it. After thinking about it, I realized that if the blog posts are too long then people don't have to read them, or they can just skim through instead of reading the whole thing. I want to have good details included though for my benefit. :)
