A Fun Bathtime! :)

A few random things before the main reason for this post:
First I wanted to say that this new "Easter" background wouldn't have been my first choice but I thought it was the best looking Easter background on the "Cutest Blog on the Block" site. I'm still deciding if I'll change it to something else or not. What do you think?
Second:
Not sure when the first time Parker pointed to his toes and hands when we asked him to point to them, but toes and hands are two new body parts that Parker now knows. :) Ok, now on to the real story...

Last night during Parker's bath he was being super happy! He always LOVES bathtime, (well, expect for when he was sick), but last night he just seemed ESPECIALLY happy! :) He was in the tub splashing away like usual and this time after we said "splash", he said it too! It was so funny b/c I had just been thinking to myself that I didn't think he had said any new words, done any new animal sounds or done any new signs that day, and usually every day there is something new that he does. Sure enough, the little man couldn't go any longer without doing something new! I LOVE toddlerhood!! :)

Then later during his bath I started asking him what certain animals say. Usually he'll say what they say, but sometime he gets stubborn and only say what some of the animals say or he'll just stare at me like I'm crazy! This time however as I rattled off animals, he would instantly and very enthusiastically say the different animal sounds! I REALLY wish I had a video of it b/c it was TOO precious!! He made the monkey, sheep, snake, elephant, cow, dog, cat, and horse sound (those were the only animals I could think of at the time that make sounds but he knew every one I asked him)! Monkey, sheep, snake and elephant are ones that he almost always does but the others he rarely does or hadn't ever done before! Horse was definitely a new sound for him as was the cat sound (which is kind of ironic since we have a cat). Cow and dog are just ones that he has done before but lately when we ask him, he doesn't make their animal sound. So this means that so far this day, he had done 2 new animal sounds and said 1 new word. But wait...there's more. ;) He also did the sign for "fish" and later after he was done in the bath he pointed to James' nose and said nose! So that was 2 new words, 2 new animal sounds, and 1 new sign! It LOVE LOVE LOVE how quickly toddlers pick up on new things!!
