AMEN! :)

We have been trying since Parker was quite young to get him to hold our hands and pay attention when we pray before meals but until recently he was really just not interested. Probably a week or so ago, James had finished praying and Parker all of a sudden started saying "Amen, Amen" over and over again. Then a few days after that, when we went to hold his hands during the prayer, he actually held each of our hands instead of pulling his hand away from us so he could continue to eat. A day or so after that, he held our hands and looked at James with the sweetest look on his face as he prayed and once again said "Amen, Amen" over and over again in a loud, enthusiastic voice! Now every time we tell him we're going to pray to thank Jesus for our meal, he gets a big smile on his face, holds our hands, sits really still as we pray and very loudly and enthusiastically says "AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!" I am so blessed to have such a sweet baby boy!! :)
