Parker is at the age where he really wants to help with things...usually! If he sees my phone sitting on the coffee table and I'm not right there with it, he'll bring it over to me. He always looks so happy and proud of himself for bringing things to me and it just melts me heart!
Yesterday I was in the shower and I heard Parker dragging something across the floor. I then heard his sweet little voice say "here you go, mama!". I panicked a little bit trying to think of what he could be dragging on the floor to me all the while hoping and praying it wasn't something breakable or extremely messy. I meekly asked "What did you bring me, Parker?". "Mama's purse!", he said. By this point I was done in the shower and got out to see my purse sitting there on the bathroom floor (still zipped and everything)! :) I told him, "Thank you so much for bringing me my purse, Parker that was so nice of you, but I don't need my purse right now, will you put it back please?" Just as sweetly as he had brought it to me, he bent down, picked it up and started dragging it back to where it had been! I wished at that moment I had my camera handy because he looked so precious holding the long handles of my purse and dragging it back over next to my side of the bed! What a little angel! :)
