Parker the "book boy"

Parker LOVES to read books!! He has moved beyond basic board books to "big boy" books with lots of words and more ornate actual "stories". There are certain books that we would read a lot and James and I would start leaving words out to see if Parker would remember them. We quite frankly didn't actually think he'd be able to, but sure enough, he had started memorizing parts of the books! In addition to this, he has learned the title of many of his books, even books we've only read a couple of times! The real ticker...just today Parker brought me a copy of "Hop on Pop" that we checked out from the library and said, "Read Hop on Pop by Dr. Suess"! I couldn't believe he even remembered the author of the book...especially a book we don't even own and have only read a handful of times! :)
