Needing Some Help...

I am wanting to add all of the pictures I have of Parker so far to this blog. The only problem is, the only way I have found to add pics is to add them one at a time. Since I literally have hundreds of pictures of Parker, this method will clearly take entirely too long! If anyone knows of any way to add large groups of pics at once, (like entire folders of pics instead of one at a time), I would greatly appreciate the help! Thank you! :)

  1. We use Picasa, which is an image viewing and editing program that Google makes. You can use it to upload entire folders of images and link to them from your blog or put a slideshow of the images from your blog.

    check out http://picasaweb.google.com/mandysue
to see some galleries of Ellie pictures

  2. I actually just downloaded Picasa but I can't figure out how to add entire folders of pics, just one pic at a time. Can you tell me how to add the folders of pics? Thanks Ben! :)

  3. Go to www.slide.com. You can upload as many pics as you want (use cntrl to upload many at one time). It will create a slideshow and you can insert the slideshow directly into your blog. From there, people can choose to watch the slideshow or look at the pics individually. I just did a couple for my classroom website if you want to take a peek.

I also create facebook photo albums and link the page to my blog. You can share fb photo albums with anyone, even if they aren't on fb.

  4. Well Carrie, I made a slideshow but my blog is through the Blogspot, not My Space, so I don't know how to put it on my blog since the instructions for sharing the slideshow were for adding it to a My Space page, which I don't have. It was super easy to make the slideshow though! :)

  5. You can do it... Don't worry - I had trouble finding it, too. Look to the left of the big yellow link that says "add to myspace." You'll see Bebo, Friendster, Yahoo, etc. Then, below that, in very tiny print, you will see "MORE." Then - even smaller - you will find Blogger. Follow the directions from there.

  6. P.S. You have to create the slideshow and go to "save" in order to get to this step.

  7. THANK YOU CARRIE!!! That was so easy once you told me where to look! I don't know why they don't make that easier. :)
